Hello my name is Rebecca Scorzella and I teach fifth grade here at St. Madeleine Sophie School. I attended catholic school for elementary and high-school, so I’m ecstatic to be teaching within the SMS family. Fifth grade is such a special year, besides preparing for middle school, the fifth graders are the leaders of the school. The leaders will participate in a ceremony within the church, where they will be given leadership pins that always are worn with pride throughout the school year. Being a fifth-grade leader is a constant staple within all we do, whether within the classrooms or traveling through the halls. By the end of fifth grade your child will be well prepared for their upcoming transition to middle school, but of course we love for them to always visit their SMS family!
